Your footage stays yours.

Showcase Studio uses local browser APIs to preview and render videos. Selected screen recordings, audio tracks and logos are not uploaded to Mohsin Labs servers. The editor currently requires no account.

What stays on your device

Media files are opened through your browser and used for local Canvas, Web Audio and MediaRecorder processing. Exports are saved by your browser as downloadable files. Your device may temporarily use memory or local browser storage during editing.

Editing preferences

Basic settings such as project name, text, colors, format choices and soundtrack preferences can be saved to your browser's localStorage. Media is not saved there. You can reset those preferences from the editor.

Optional files and third-party hosting

If you select your own soundtrack, you are responsible for the rights to use it. The built-in music is generated locally. Standard website hosting access logs may exist; this package does not include a third-party media-processing service or an advertising tracker.

Export compatibility

Codec support depends on your browser. A downloaded MP4 may need H.264/AAC conversion before posting to some platforms. The independent source package includes local FFmpeg conversion helpers for this purpose.
